One of my favorite romantic songs is the Bryan Adams and Barbara Streisand duet I’ve Finally Found Someone from the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces starring Streisand and Jeff Bridges. (Yeah, yeah, even a rock chick like me has some decent pop favorites. Also, I love Adams’ voice. And it’s a lovely little movie.)
That’s where the title of the post comes from.
And while my search for great love continues, I’m happy to say I’ve at least finally found the WordPress premium theme of my dreams: Studio Press’ Genesis’ child theme Focus Pro.
It looks professional and organized. I love the colors, and the features were exactly what I’m looking for.
I’m still learning and fiddling with details, but we are happy together.
Wait for my next post where I will talk you through on how to install it to a MacBook Air from files that don’t come in a zip folder in a totally non-techie way.
If you like the theme you see on the blog now, please purchase it here.
What’s your favorite theme?

Hi Pinar,
What a great looking theme! Nice find.
I use the premium version of GeneratePress for just about every website I work on. I find it clean, attractive, and extremely flexible.
Best,
Brent

Hi Brent,
I’ll check it out. I’d looked at StudioPress themes before, but I’d found Genesis a bit generic. But when I found this child theme, it was love at first sight! My kind of color scheme, sidebars…overall design…every thing!
The more I looked at my site, the more (almost)100 bucks seemed worth it!

So, you’re still addicted to writing. I thought otherwise.
I don’t understand what you mean by “Focus Pro is automatically yours if you buy Genesis.”
Do you mean, you get the Focus theme, free with the framework? That means, for $59?
I thought, they gave only a blank child theme with the framework.
Did you check the Prose theme? I think you should.
I may purchase Genesis and a child theme soon too.

Hi Raspal, I made a mistake in the original post and corrected it. Thanks for commenting!
You have to pay about 100 bucks to have Focus.
Genesis is working wonders so far. I want to write a more in-depth post when I have time.
